A Korean scholar, Dr Kyo Soon Park, Tamgha-e-Khidmat would highlight the importance of celebrating Buddha Day by presenting her paper on “Buddha Day for World Peace.
“Vesak Day also known as Wesak Day or Buddha’s Birthday is a major Buddhist festival celebrated by all the Buddhists throughout the world, with great ceremonial rituals.
Pakistan has a rich heritage, divergent cultures and also has the honour of being the birthplace of ancient civilizations.
