BELFAST — Anam Thubten, a Buddhist teacher, will give a talk 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, at Unitarian Universalist Church of Belfast, 37 Miller St.
Thubten comes from the tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, and his teaching now draws from many sources. He is the founder and spiritual leader of the Dharmata Foundation and the author of several books, including “No Self, No Problem” and The “Magic of Awareness.” In his talks and in his books, Anam Thubten shares the wisdom of Buddha in an accessible way, making this tradition applicable to daily life. He has been teaching and leading retreats in Maine since 2001. A
