Nature’s Basket, which is India’s premier retail destination aiming to make you a more refined foodie, has finally arrived in Kolkata. Spread across 4,000 square feet space at Stephen Court, 18 G Park Street, this is the first Nature’s Basket store in the city and the 36th store in India. The retail chain grew noticeably prominent in its relevance as more and more Indians began warming up to the idea of goal-oriented diets featuring whole foods and international gourmet supplies. Besides everyday essentials, the store also stocks impressve options for customers who want to shop gluten-free and dairy-free.

The offerings at the new Nature’s Basket include farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, preservative-free meats and fish, artisanal cheeses, homemade breads, cold-pressed juices, packaged goods etc. You will also find raw edibles you can’t find anywhere in the city, like 25 varieties of chillies and tomatoes sourced from across the world, exotic edible flowers and vegetables such as Buddha’s hand and kiwano.

The space has been categorised into convenient sections, like The Tea Room which stocks over 200 varieties of tea and coffee sourced from plantations across India, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, China, Japan and Kenya, and an extensive range of black, herbal, green and organic teas. There’s an entire Health and Wellness section which features fresh veggies, microgreens, multiple varieties of mushrooms, quinoa, kokum syrup and more.

The store also has a build-your-own chocolate bar with over 25 toppings & flavours, and you can choose from the huge artisanal range of chocolates. You’ll also find the widest range of imported cheese, like Brie, Camembert, Blue Cheese, Parmesan, Fondue, Manchego, Raclette, Hard Cheese, Smoked Cheese, Edam, Gouda and so on. There’s also a completely dairy-free section which consists of lactose-free milk, cheese, nut milk, especially for lactose resistant and vegan customers.
